Inside working hours we aim to answer live, and to reply to every WhatsApp message before the end of the day.

Every email gets a human reply. If it needs a consultant or a developer to come back to us, we tell you that rather than leaving you waiting.

Account deletion
Within 7 days of confirming

Usually the same day. Instant if you do it from inside the app. See delete your account.

Data access and privacy requests
Within 30 days

Copies of your data, corrections, and objections to processing. Set out in the privacy policy.

When you contact us, having these ready makes it faster: the email address on your Element account, the app version (More tab, bottom of the screen), your device and OS version, and a screenshot if something looks broken.

Trying to delete your account? You do not need to contact us at all, and you do not need the app installed. Go to element-realestate.com/delete-account, enter your email, and confirm from the link we send you.

The app has no over-the-air updates, so fixes reach you through a normal App Store or Play Store update. If we ask you to update, please check the store rather than reinstalling.

Reporting a security problem

If you believe you have found a vulnerability in the Element app or website, email hello@element-realestate.com with Security in the subject line, and give us enough detail to reproduce it. Please do not test against other people's accounts or data. We will acknowledge within 2 working days and keep you posted until it is closed.
